LYTA / Dunston Summer Academic Tennis Camp
Students from Dunston Elementary are participating in week one of two weeks of tennis camp. Students are learning basic tennis skills as well as participating in the Charleston Library summer reading program and following USTA’s Academic Creative Engagement Program. Students learn one skill per day and then put it into practice during fun games. Week two is June 24 –
Junior Circuit Tournament hosted by LYTA
The LYTA is hosting a Junior Circuit Tennis Tournament and you’re invited. Join us Saturday, July 13th at the Creekside Tennis Club for some exciting youth tennis. Play will be with 10U Green Dot and 12U-18U Yellow Balls.
Elementary and Middle School Tennis League Championship Winners
LYTA Board members April Gift and Greg Taylor coached the Haut Gap Middle School Bulldogs and The Angel Oak Owls tennis teams to championships in the Elementary and Middle School Tennis League. April’s Haut Gap Bulldogs tied for the Division 4 Yellow Ball Title and Greg’s Angel Oak Owls tied for the Orange Ball Division 13 Title and won the
