It was LYTA night at Joseph P. Riley Jr. Park and it was a hit for everyone.
Students and parents from North Charleston Elementary School, Matilda Dunston and other schools attended LYTA’S Night at the RiverDogs May 25, to celebrate tennis month. Players of various abilities and ages were able to go onto the field between innings to show off their tennis skills and also enjoy watching baseball with their family and friends.
The fun evening was sponsored by the LCTA, Third Serve Foundation, USTA SC, the LYTA, and the Charleston RiverDogs.
The kids had photos taken with the team mascot, Charlie T. RiverDog, a fan’s best friend.
