Join us for a free Captain’s / Coach’s Tennis Workshop on Sun, Feb 12, 2023. The event will be 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and is for 18 years+. The workshop will be at the Charleston Tennis Center, 19 Farmfield Avenue, Charleston, SC 29407. Get directions
The lead coach will be Bruce Hawtin.
The Tri-County Coach’s Tennis Workshop is designed to help teachers, parents, captains and coaches with “How to conduct a Practice” on a weekly basis, learn the match league format plus give an understanding of tennis rules and etiquette on and off the courts. The workshop is free to all participants and participants need to wear tennis sneakers for on court activities.

Please see the attached flyer. All RED BALL COACHES are required to attend. Parents are welcome!
DUE FEBRUARY 13Th
ROSTERS –along with a check for $30.00 made out to the City of Charleston (this is per team). You can also call with a credit card number.
VOLUNTEER FORMS – along with a copy of the driver’s license. Social Security number must be included or you must call to have it entered while you are on the phone.
FEBRUARY 25TH
Deadline for parents to register their child on the City of Charleston Recreation website
WEEK OF MARCH 6TH
Matches start
Coaches are responsible for the following:
- Team shirts
- Balls for home matches
- Red ball coaches – 2 nets for each match
- East Cooper coaches – 4 home match sites
Remember that all rosters and volunteer forms need to be mailed or delivered to the Charleston Tennis Center. Email copies will not be accepted.
