Parent-Child One-Day Tournament

Carloyn Reyes who plays on the Dunston tennis team, attended the Dunston Tennis Camp and who participates in LYTA’s Play More Tennis Program at Collins Park played in a tournament at Creekside in Mount Pleasant on Dec. 30th.

It was a Parent-Child, One-day Tournament using WTN (World Tennis Number) and included a Hot Chocolate Bar & Coffee which was nice due to cooler weather.

The tournament was to give players an opportunity to play tennis with their child or an adult player using green dot balls for younger players & older players, the yellow ball.

Teams were flighted with a combined WTN & 24 players participated in the green dot & 32 players in the yellow ball flights.
Teams were guaranteed 3 matches in their flights with winners advancing from flights to finals & 3rd/4th place.

Congrats to Carolyn and thanks to LYTA’s April Gift who ran a great tournament.
