LYTA - Dunston Academic Tennis Camp
Pictures from LYTA’s Dunston Academic Tennis Camp. This week we have been working on sharing out each morning, reading for 30 minutes each day, writing memory cards to help remember new skills, learning basic tennis skills and playing fun games for the last hour. Lunch has been provided to all students courtesy of the CCSD’s Seamless Summer Feeding Program.
Week 2 of the LYTA Dunston Academic Camp comes to a close with a celebration including certificates and prizes for everyone, pizza, and students shared out their reading logs, their tennis skill sheets and finished of with some fun tennis games. Great job every one!

Dear tennis parent,
We will be incorporating 30 minutes of reading into tennis camp each day. Please see the attached Charleston County Library reading worksheet which helps kids monitor their reading and win prizes.
On day one as an introductory activity students will be sharing what they have been reading at home the week before camp starts. (30 minutes per day for 4 days). Students may bring the book that they have been reading if they wish and they can bring their log already started or we will have blank sheets.
Rgds Mr. Farrelly, Mr. Watson
Querido padre tenista,
Saludos Sr. Farrelly, Sr. Watson
