Danny Jones Hispanic Tennis Lessons – 2024 Wrap-up

Congratulations to students, parents, LYTA , Third Serve and USTA members for a great celebration to finish our Hispanic tennis lessons and fun activities at Danny Jones Tennis Courts. The courts are now part of the North Charleston Sports Complex.

Students finished off with a pizza party, free books, certificates for every participant and two free rackets for Player of the Court winners.  Students in middle and high school also participated in the program on two other days of the week.

This has been a very successful endeavor targeting students in the local community who were able to learn basic tennis skills and play fun tennis games. The team’s hope in the future is to increase participation and provide a pathway for students to take extra lessons and participate in USTA tournaments.

Great job everyone, we are looking forward to seeing you at the courts soon!

Thanks, John Farrelly
